Cate Blanchett’s Elizabeth Inspired Khaleesi of Game of Thrones

Emilia Clarke had a good look at Cate Blanchett for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the television series Game of Thrones. She says in conversation with a website The Wrap.
The 29 year old actress was well prepared for the auditions. “As a small brunette, I had to convince the producers that I would be a good actress for a character that itself has long and blond hair,” she explains. “Luckily Cate Blanchett in the film Elizabeth is a perfect example.”

In its role Khaleesi, Clarke herself has learned how to become a stronger woman. “Subconsciously, you learn a lot from the character. I’m, due to Khaleesi, also changed.”
