Kyushu Electric Power Co. said on Tuesday that the central started as planned and without any problems. The company expects to be able to deliver energy from the power plant within two or three days.

After the disaster, all 43 operating nuclear plants were closed in the country. The disaster in 2011 caused 160.000 people to leave their homes.
