The Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic has reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon. The Serbian number one of the ranking list defeated the South African star Kevin Anderson in the final fifth set, played on Tuesday, by 7-5. Monday night the match was stopped at 2-2 due to bad light.

In the quarterfinals Djokovic will face Croatian Marin Cilic on Wednesday, who defeated American wildcard player Denis Kudla in four sets on Monday. Djokovic, the world number one, chasing his third Wimbledon title. The Serb won the famous grand slam last year and in 2011.
